Lightly bear-clawed German spruce top. Indian Rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck with rounded “V” profile. Radiused Ebony fingerboard with abalone cut diamond inlays. Madagascar Rosewood peghead overlay with Collings logo inlaid at top. Nickel Waverly tuners. Gabon Ebony belly bridge with boxed intonated bone saddle. Bone nut.
Ivoroid bindings around top and back of body, end wedge, and heel cap. Top edge has wooden herringbone purfling. Back of guitar has wooden “zipper” backstrip inlaid in center. Ebony pins and endpin.
Note: This is an outstanding guitar! So much presence for a small body guitar. Fast, sure attack and full sound follows the attack. Good balanced sound. This guitar is a joy to play.
