Engelmann Spruce top, nicely sunbursted. Satin finish. Flamed Maple back, sides and neck. Comfortably radiused Ebony fretboard with pearl dot inlays. Collings is known for their perfect radius; not too curved, not too flat. Just right. Bone nut. Ebony adjustable bridge.
We love the MT mandolins. While the MT is Collings “base model”—meaning it doesn’t necessarily have all the extra appointments like gloss finish or extra bindings—this instrument is still hand-built in American with the same passion, dedication, and high standard to quality we see in all Collings instruments.
