New Collings “traditional” build that includes lightweight woods, very thin finish, and hide glue, as well as many other pre-war style options. The “traditional” builds from Collings have consistently exceeded our expectations – the sound is powerful and warm in a way that is completely different than any other new guitars we have seen. They are consistently more open and more responsive.

Mahogany vintage profile neck. Ebony peghead overlay. Gold pearl inlays. Early Collings “script” peghead logo. Nickel Waverly tuners. Gabon Ebony fingerboard with cut diamond inlays. Ebony bridge with “cut-thru” saddle. No tongue brace. Ivoroid bridge and pins. These guitars are great “just as they come” as a Traditional version… But! Using our 30+ years experience, we have learned how to choose “which woods” for the tops and whether to have the top Torrefied or not.

These guitars come with an excellent hard case made by Collings in their facility. These cases are on par with the quality of the instruments themselves, as they appear similar to a c.1932 Geib case, but with better padding, cloth, handle, etc. These are eye-catching cases for any vintage guitar enthusiast. You can’t help but notice it when one walks into a room.
