Engelmann Spruce top, Wenge back and sides, Mahogany neck. Very attractive exotic wood peghead overlay with wood binding and clever wooden truss rod cover. Bone nut. Appears to be Jacaranda fingerboard with abalone dots. Fingerboard is also bound with wood binding. Exotic wood bridge with boxed bone saddle. Ebony bridgepins with abalone dot. Solid wood bindings on top and back edge of body, on heelcap, endwedge, and in multi-center line in back of guitar. Wooden soundhole rosette. Open-back Pre-War style nickel Grover tuners.
This is one of the early guitars from the builder Wilburn Huckabee out of Sandpoint, ID. Warm, even tone.
