Walnut rim. Bottom of rim is blackened with tortoise binding. Wood adjustable dowel stick. Ebony peghead overlay and heelcap with “diamond” inlay. Ebony fingerboard with traditional “scoop” after 17th fret. Antiqued brass hardware. H & K main tuners with Gotoh 5th, all antiqued with matching iridescent amber buttons. “Woody” tone ring. Metal skirt shows underneath tension hoop.
We are very impressed with the resonance of this banjo, even coming out of the case for the first time. Comes with original hard case.
