This brand new OME Tupelo banjo was handmade in Colorado, USA. Cherry wood construction with cherry neck, rim, and dowel stick. Flat Ebony fingerboard with “S-curve” scalloping at end and small abalone dot inlays. White side dot position markers. Railroad spikes factory-installed at A and B position. Ebony peghead veneer and heelcap. Tortoise binding the inside and outside of the bottom of the rim. Top of the rim is beveled to act as a tone ring. 14 hooks and nuts. Antiqu’ed hardware, including the H&K tuners, which have matching amber iridescent buttons. Truss rod cavity above the nut. OME one-piece tailpiece. Dotson bridge.
Beautiful handmade wooden armrest.
Very nice lightweight banjo with good projection and great twang. The Cherry wood provides a nice warm resonance. Very fast attack with a nice linger.
Comes with a nice original hard case.
