This new Prucha Mahogany Lightweight Banjo is made with nice Mahogany neck and resonator, Rosewood fingerboard and all Prucha parts. These lightweight Prucha models are currently in use at highest levels of bluegrass by players like Alison Brown, Russ Carson, Steve Dilling, Tony Furtado, and others. Fiddle peg head has Abalone inlays in the Ebony overlay and truss-rod cover near nut.. Rosewood flat fingerboard has small dot position markers. Black binding along fingerboard. Ebony heel cap. Same 3-ply maple rim as all Prucha banjos, with top beveled towards lightweight brass bar tone ring. Nickel hardware. Mahogany resonator has tortoise multiple binding on top and back edges. This is a fine banjo at a bargain price.
Comes with a good hardshell case.
