Square neck dobro with Gold hardware.
Mahogany body and neck with spruce top (plywood). Beautiful sunburst, and overall look. Peghead has Regal decal logo at top, on tortoise celluloid peghead veneer. Rosewood fingerboard has pearl dot inlays. Gold tuners, cover plate, tailpiece, screen holes and endpin. Bone nut. Traditional spun cone with spider. Top edge has 5-ply binding. Back edge has single cream binding. Fingerboard has single cream binding.
For many years here at the House of Fine Instruments, we specialized in retro-fitting these entry-level resophonics with with upgraded Cone, Spider and saddle inserts.
This caused them to have a bigger voice for playing in jams and on stage. This is one of those instruments.
