Nicely made 8-string semi-hollowbody electric mandolin with neck-thru construction. Walnut body with flamed Maple top and Maple 2-pc neck with stringer down the center. Ebony radiused fingerboard with abalone strip position markers. Ebony peghead overlay. Ebony 2-pc adjustable bridge. Tortoise multiple bindings around top edge of body and around peghead. Tortoise pickguard, truss-rod cover and back control cavity cover. Gold hardware.
Single DiMarzio humbucking pickup, with push-pull switch to change between series (humbucking), to parallel (single coil) sounds.
This is a well built instrument that plays and sounds great. 8-string electric mandolins sound really like a true mandolin, with 4-string versions sounding more like soprano electric guitars.
Only a little player wear on the frets – no deep dents. A few random dings here and there, but no problems or repairs.
Comes with good gig bag.
