This 1909 Gemunder Art Violin, by August Gemunder and sons, is a very well-made instrument. High grade Red Spruce top coupled with outstanding figured Maple back, sides and neck.
Ebony fittings with a very resonant metal fine tuner tailpiece.
These Gemunder Art Violins are known for high quality materials and workmanship and tone.
There are three repaired top cracks, all emanating from the f-holes. Only one is significant – 4-1/2″ from treble f-hole bottom to the violin edge.
Recent professional set-up and finish rejuvenation. It looks great, plays fine and sounds very good.
Comes with a good hard case.
