This 1989 Flatiron Silverbow Banjo is in excellent condition.
Fiddle-cut peghead with ebony overlay. “Flatiron” inlay in mother of pearl, as well as four-piece flower inlay. Truss rod access above an unbleached bone nut.
Flat ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl leaves and diamond inlays. “Silverbow” inlaid at the 21st fret.
All five tuners are matching Shaller with pearlescent buttons.
The pot is a standard flathead pot and has the shoe and plate construction. 24 hooks and nuts with a one-piece plate flange. You can remove the nuts from the hooks and remove the plate, leaving a fine claw-grass banjo. The inside is a one coordinator rod system.
All nickel hardware with Presto tailpiece.
In great condition with original hardcase.
