Exc condition.
Top is select German Spruce from the Black Forest. Back and sides are beautiful very high-grade quarter-sawn old growth Brazilian Rosewood. This is a beautiful guitar with many nice appointments. King wood peghead overlay with dove in flight abalone inlay. Gabon ebony radiused fingerboard. Dove inlays on fingerboard are made from vintage piano key ivory. Beautiful abalone twin inlay at 12th fret (see photos). Two more abalone dove inlays on Brazilian Rosewood bridge. Beautiful solid green abalone bindings on the top, along fingerboard, and around rosette and peghead. Ivoroid multiple bindings with extra lines of wood shown on top, back and sides. Wooden marketry end strip beautiful mitered in. Piano key ivory heelcap. Gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons. Strap button and clear pickguard installed by the builder. Brand new fret job with gold EVO fretwire. This guitar originally cost over $18,000 and was used and enjoyed by the owner for years. There are incidental signs of prior player wear, including a minor dings on the top. Cosmetic issues on the top include snaky lines of crackle finish, what looks like a microphone ding, and a slight shadow where an armrest has been removed. Back of the neck and back and sides are in great shape with no crackle finish. Peghead shows no finish checking.
Beautiful, mature tone. Even the back of the guitar sings when you tap it.
