This 1993 Larrivee’ OM-09 guitar is exceptional in every way. Tonally, it is very well developed and “opened-up”. The sounds start with a quick, sure response whether picked or touched with a finger. Excellent balance, with beautiful clear sweet highs and great bottom end. NO wear! No player wear on frets or fingerboard. One-piece neck with no “ears” on sides of peghead, and no 2-pc heel.
Rosewood Orchestra Model with high grade Spruce top. The Spruce top appears to be Lutz Spruce (a naturally occurring hybrid between Englemann, Sitka and White Spruce along British Columbia coastline). Excellent Spruce grain with bold “bearclaw” figure. Neck is very comfortable with a “C” profile.
Rosewood peghead overlay with Larivee’ logo at top. Nickel Schaller closed back tuners. Bone nut. Gabon Ebony fingerboard with no inlays. Fingerboard bound with ivoroid. Soundhole rosette is elegant, with multiple wood strips on both sides of an intricate decorative marquetry band. Body bound with Rosewood outer bindings around top and back of body, with multiple thin wood strip purflings seen from sides and from top and back edges. Rosewood end wedge. Ivoroid heelcap.
The sound AND the condition of this 1993 Larrivee’ OM-09 are top notch! Comes with original hard case.
