This 2002 Weber Bitterroot Custom mandolin is in extremely nice original condition. It is a very early Weber Bitterroot Custom and has great appointments, is set up fine and sounds really good. This is a prime example of why Weber rose to fame building great sounding affordable mandolins. This mandolin is traditionally built, with highly figured Maple back, sides and neck.The choice Sitka Spruce top has beautiful grain and some slight “bearclaw” figure. Ebony peghead overlay, fingerboard and bridge.
The Ebony peghead overlay has Weber logo “silkscreen” decal at top and Celtic knot in center. Wooden trussrod cover just above bone nut. Nickel Schaller tuners with pearloid buttons. Flat Gabon Ebony fingerboard with stylized pearl diamond inlays and white side dots.

The body has a very pretty sunburst top and no marks or dings, etc. Top edge is bound with ivoroid binding. Gabon Ebony “Brekke” adjustable bridge. Galvanized Weber one-pc cast tailpiece with very smart screw-in endpin. No bindings on back edge of mandolin. Rootbeer brown color graduation on back, sides and back of neck.

This mandolin is in really great shape and has very strong responsive tone. There are no problems; no parts replaced; no scratches, dings, dents, etc…

Comes with original excellent hard case.
