This 2005 Martin HD-28 has general player wear throughout, but it is in great shape otherwise and it has nice tone and playability. Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a “C” profile Mahogany neck.
The Rosewood peghead overlay has the Martin & Co. decal at the top. Nickel Martin tuners. Bone nut. The “C” profile neck has a diamond volute and a cream heelcap. The Ebony fingerboard has pearl dot inlays, and white side dot position markers. Professional fret milling was just done so the frets are in perfect shape.
The Spruce top has some dings and scratches, but it does not have any cracks. Ebony bridge has white bridge pins with black dots, and a bone saddle. Tortoise plastic pickguard. “28-style” sound hole rosette, and herringbone purfling before the cream binding on the top edge. The Indian Rosewood back and sides have a fair amount of dings and scratches, but no structural issues. white end wedge has a plastic end pin with a black dot.
