This 2006 Prucha Pioneer Banjo is in fantastic shape for being nearly 20 years old. It hardly looks to have been played, or even taken out of the case for that matter. The frets have no wear, and it only has one or two tiny scuff marks on the resonator.
The Rosewood peghead overlay features a “JPrucha” decal at the top, with an abalone crown inlay in the center. Truss rod cover above the bone nut. Nickel tuners with ivoroid buttons. The Rosewood fingerboard has square and diamond M.O.P inlays, and white side dot position markers. “C” profile Mahogany neck is in great shape with no wear to mention. Rosewood heelcap.
11/16″ Prucha bridge, Remo head. Flathead tone-ring, one piece flange, 3-ply maple rim. Nickel Prucha Presto tailpiece, single bracket Nickel armrest. This 2006 Prucha Pioneer is a prime example of Prucha’s craftsmanship. It has great tone and playability. Railroad spikes installed at 7, 8, 9, and 10. Comes with the original hard case.
