This 2007 Ibanez Art Core bears resemblance to a Gibson ES-335. It has a three-piece Maple neck, with laminate Maple back, sides, and top. The major attraction is the two humbucking pickups that are set into a solid wood block that is found between the top and back. This block keeps the guitar from feeding back too easily, and imparts a tone that is “correct” for rock, blues, jazz, etc.
Beautiful see-thru blue finish over highly figured Maple top, back and sides. Plain Maple 3-pc neck. This guitar is fully bound (top, back, fingerboard and peghead) with cream bindings. Gold hardware. Two humbucking pickups with normal switching: 3-way p/u selector, two volume and two tone pots. Rosewood fingerboard. Beautiful rectangular “picture frame” inlays of pearl border with intense abalone interior. Bound f-holes, cream heel cap.
NO fret wear. The weight and balance of this guitar are very good. The tone is very good. Comes with the original Hard Case.
—NOTE— the digital camera has trouble portraying this finish and shows it as blue rather than blue-green. The photo of the back of the guitar is closest to what your eye will see. This is an absolutely beautiful finish.
