This is a custom “Fall-in-Love” banjo, top tension version. Custom appointments include fine grade of figured maple in neck and resonator, marquetry wood purflings in back of resonator, abalone inlays and truss rod cover, Speed Neck, radiused fingerboard, special bindings, and top tension hardware including top tension neck, tension hoop, bolts, and arm rest.
Highly figured maple neck and resonator with beautiful amber sunburst. Neck and resonator bound with stylized ivoroid-black-ivoroid binding. Back of resonator has colorful concentric circles of wooden marquetry. Nickel hardware. Modified Kerschner tailpiece. Nickel Gotoh tuners with cool milky white buttons. Ebony peghead overlay with JPrucha at top and floral abalone inlays around peghead. Abalone truss rod cover. Bone nut. Ebony radiused fingerboard with abalone falling leaves inlay pattern. Railroad spikes professionally installed at A, Bb, B, and C. Prucha bridge.
This is a major banjo that sounds great, coming out of a Prucha collection.
