Here is a nice lightweight 2015 Martin 000-28 SB Guitar that is in excellent playing condition but has some slight areas of dings here and there. Overall it is all original and frets have recent professional fret milling and polish.
This guitar would be rated “excellent” without the (-) except for a smooth mar in the finish just outside the pickguard (probably mirophone rubbing), and some light finish denting in the back of the C-profile neck (leaning against coffee table).
Typical of Martin 000-28’s, it has Indian Rosewood Back and Sides, Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard and bridge.
Rosewood peghead overlay has CF Martin decal logo at top. Nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners. Ebony fingerboard has graduated pearl dot inlays and white side dots. Diamond volute in back of peghead. C-profile neck. White heelcap.
The body is bound with multiple white outer bindings with black/white lines of purfling inside the top and back edges. White end wedge with black accent lines. Soundhole rosette consists of 3 concentric circles of multiple wh/blk/wh purflings.
This is a very nice guitar that is in excellent playing condition. It does show light rub marks, dings, etc., but these areas are not glaring problems at all.
Comes all set-up, with recent fret milling and polish. Comes with Hard Case.
