Radiused F.B. / Mahogany banjo
This 2016 Prucha Pioneer banjo is a great Mahogany instrument. It is set-up well and in great shape. This is a one-owner banjo.
Prucha banjos and mandolins are known for their excellent quality and superior sound and are all hand-made in The Czech Republic by Jaroslav Prucha and his son, John. Their banjos are played by some of the most prominent bluegrass musicians around the world today: Bela Fleck, Russ Carson, Alison Brown, Greg Cahill, Tony Furtado, Steve Dilling, Jason Burleson and quite a few others.
The Pioneer model is Prucha Mahogany model, featuring a radiused Rosewood fingerboard. It has a satin finish. It boasts outstanding response and projects a beautiful tonal quality. This particular Pioneer banjo is in excellent condition, and it comes with a nice hardshell case for protection.
Specifications for this 2016 Prucha Pioneer Resonator Banjo include a natural satin finish, mahogany resonator material and rim, flathead tone ring, notched tension hoop, Remo head, one-piece flange, and a mahogany neck with a rosewood radiused fingerboard. Pioneer name is engraved into the wood fingerboard. It has simple but tasteful MOP diamond fingerboard inlays and nice peghead MOP inlays, as well. Black bindings on resonator and along fingerboard. C-profile neck and a 31.5mm nut width and cream tuner buttons. The bridge is made of maple with ebony top, and the tailpiece is nickel plated.
The banjo is in excellent condition and ready to play! Comes with a hard shell case.
