1-3/4″ width at nut / Large Soundhole
Brazilian R.W. back and sides / Calton Hard Case
This 2018 Bourgeois Dreadnought delivers a lot of resonance with very nice playability. It is in fantastic condition, with very little sign it was previously owned. The larger soundhole is an interesting addition to this high quality guitar. The Adirondack Spruce top paired with the Brazilian Rosewood back and sides makes this a very nice sounding guitar.
The Rosewood peghead overlay does not have any inlays or markings of any kind, but instead it has a small “Bourgeois” signature on the back of the headstock. Nickle Waverly tuners with Nickle buttons. Bone nut. The slight rounded “V” profile Mahogany neck has a Diamond volute, and a Rosewood strap button with a pearloid dot installed in the correct position on the heel. The Ebony fingerboard does not have any inlays, but it has black side dot position markers on the bass side of the ivoroid binding. Ivoroid heelcap.
Very nice Adirondack Spruce top with a larger soundhole. The soundhole rosette begins at the edge of the soundhole, where typically a guitar would have a small out of space before the rosette begins. The Ebony bridge has a bone saddle and Ebony bridge pins with pearloid dots. Tortoise pickguard. Herringbone purfling before the ivoroid binding on the top edge. The Brazilian Rosewood back and sides are in wonderful shape with nearly no wear to mention. Slight button marks around this instrument, but it has no previous crack repairs and no current cracks. The Brazilian Rosewood back edge is ivoroid bound and the two-piece back has a zipper back strip down the center. Ivoroid endwedge and Rosewood end pin with pearloid dot.
This Bourgeois Dreadnought with a larger soundhole is a wonder sounding and easy playing instrument. It has very little wear and it is set up very nicely.
Comes with a Calton hard case.
