This 2022 Taylor 224 CE is in great condition. It is freshly setup and sounds nice.
The peghead overlay features the Taylor logo at the top, and truss rod access above the nut. Gold Taylor tuners with gold buttons. Mahogany neck is a nice comfortable profile, and it is in good shape with no dings or scratches. Gold strap button installed in the correct location on the heel. The Ebony fingerboard has small diamond inlays and small side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The Ebony bridge has Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots.
Solid Koa top is in great shape with some very small dings and scratches. You are not able to see them without using light as a guide, and even then they are hard to spot. Black plastic pickguard and simple single ring soundhole rosette. Black binding on the top edge of the solid Koa top with a white line of purfling. Two tone knobs and one volume knob by the heel on the bass side of the Koa sides. Black endwedge with pickup jack and pickup battery access. The Koa back and sides are in really great shape with very minimal signs this instrument was pre-owned.
This 2022 Taylor 224 CE is a good instrument that has not been played very much. It needs to be played and opened up, but it also doesn’t have any issues since it is a very recent instrument. Comes with the original hard case.
