Cherry Wood / Little Wonder Tone Ring
This Chuck Lee 11″ Cherry Open-Back banjo is a true “One-of-a-kind”. Made from American Cherry woods, with a 3-piece Cherry neck with stringers and a Cherry rim with Cherry bottom cap. Everywhere you can find tasteful multi-laminate woods accenting the Cherry – under the Ebony peghead overlay, fingerboard, heelcap and the stringers along back of neck.
This banjo started out as a Chautauqua model but has been customized with a Little Wonder style tone ring. Elaborate Angel inlay in peghead.
25-1/2″ Scale. Dowel stick construction. 14 – bracket 11″ rim. Nickel Waverly tuners with Schaller 5th, all with ivoroid buttons. No Knot tailpiece. Scalloped bone nut.
This banjo comes with a very cool case… It has one of the very few Ameritage customized cases that Mr. Lee offered in limited availability.
