This Hopkins Conversion Tone Ring is designed to convert a Pre-war Gibson archtop banjo to flathead. It will fit on a Pre-War Gibson archtop banjo rim without modification. We test-fitted this tone ring to a 1927 Gibson rim and it fits perfectly. Very nice ringing tone with great spectrum of sound when struck.
