Original Chipboard Case
This Vintage Martin Style 1 Baritone Ukulele with original case is a nice one. It’s always difficult to determine the exact age of Martin Ukes, as they always look similar to each other over the years and also because they usually didn’t assign serial numbers to them.
20.25″ Scale length. The nut is cut for low pitch 4th string.
There are no apparent repairs or problems. One area of some snaky finish checks on treble side near waist. Original bridge and tuners are working fine.
Very good sound. All latches, hinges and handle are working fine on the case.
Original Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, both in great original condition. Original Ebony nut, original frets. All Mahogany construction. The Mahogany top is bound with black binding that has cream accent line purfling. The back has simple black binding. Tuners are original friction tuners with cream plastic buttons.
Sounds good, works fine, no problems. Comes with it’s original chipboard case.
