Convertible: Resonator to Open Back

Fiddle cut peghead. Blackened peghead veneer has Morgan Monroe logo at top and hearts and flowers inlay in the center. “Rocky Top” inscribed truss rod cover just above the nut.
Rosewood fingerboard has cream bindings with dark side dots for position markers and hearts and flowers inlays in the fingerboard. Appears to be geared Nickel Ping tuners with pearloid buttons. Cream heel cap with multiple layers.

The Mahogany of the Neck and Resonator and Rim has a beautiful translucent Red finish. The Pot is a “convertible” pot that currently has “Shoe and Plate” Flange and Resonator configuration, but is easily converted to Open-Back with the removal of the resonator and flange.
The resonator is very nice, with multiple cream bindings along top and back edge, and an inlaid circle of multiple purfling in back.

This banjo is currently in our shop awaiting final set-up (strings, better bridge, action adjust, head tuning, frets polished, etc).

Comes with set-up, tune-up and a “Travelite style” case.
