Traditionally constructed, this new Kentucky KM-250 delivers a lot of sound for the money. Maple back, sides and neck with solid carved Spruce top. Radiused Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Blackened peghead veneer has Kentucky pearl logo inlaid at top and flourish in center. Truss rod adjustment in peghead near nut. The cream binding around the fingerboard has dark side dot position markers. B/W/B elevated pickguard. Ebony prewar style 2-piece adjustable bridge. Two piece nickel tailpiece. Nickel tuners with cream buttons. Ebony endpin. Cream binding around top and back of mandolin body.
We take great care in the set up and adjustment of these Kentucky mandolins when they arrive. Each one is checked and adjusted to have good playability and great sound. We adjust nut slots, bridge slots and bridge fit as needed. We adjust the neck and and tailpiece as needed. We restring with high quality strings.
