Solid carved select Spruce top with nice honey amber color.
Hand-carved solid maple back, sides, and neck. Ebony adjustable bridge. Bone nut. Cream bindings along sides of body and fingerboard. Radiused fingerboard makes for nice playability. Pearl dot position markers inlaid. Kentucky logo and vintage-style wreath inlaid in blackened peghead. Engraved nickel tailpiece. Black pickguard has black/white/black binding and a beveled edge. High gloss transparent amber finish provides durability and nice color.
This is a great mandolin for the money, hand-carved with solid wood. Sounds pretty darn good!
Comes with a very good gig bag and professional setup.
The set-up includes: Bridge fitting, bridge slots adjusted, nut slots adjusted, intonation, cleaning and oiling fingerboard, and action adjustment.
