This Pono Octave Mandolin MD-20 is a wonderful instrument. Mahogany body and neck, with select Engelmann spruce top. Macassar ebony peghead overlay, fingerboard, bridge and heelcap. Ebony bindings on top and back edge of body, and around fingerboard. Pono decal logo at top of peghead. Gold tuners. Small dot inlays in fingerboard. Tasteful wooden marquetry soundhole rosette. Extra lines of purfling inside top edge binding.
Surprisingly big sound for a small instrument.
