Tone King Royalist 15 Head and Cabinet
This Tone King Royalist is an all tube 15 watt head with 1×12 cabinet. It utilizes three 12AX7’s and two EL84’s for a British voiced amp, designed to capture classic sounds ranging from JTM45 to higher gain Plexi tones. It features a series-wired, tube buffered effects loop for excellent transparency. There is a built-in Ironman II power attenuator that uses a reactive load circuit for incredible tones at home volume.
The front panel features a 3-band EQ as well as presence knob. On the back panel, you will find a fully buffered effects loop, a line out jack with volume pot, and an impedance dial for 4, 8, and 16 ohm extension cabinets. The line output signal retains the same tone as the amp driving a speaker and can be sent to another amp, PA, mixing board, headphone amp, etc. There are bias test points on the back panel.
The speaker cabinet is loaded with a 12″ custom designed Eminence / Tone King speaker modeled after vintage Celestion G12M Greenback. The open-back enclosure is custom designed from Canadian Birch with a Baltic Birch baffle.
This is an excellent amp for anyone who needs a British tube sound at any volume.
