Exc condition / Very high model for the Johnson brand
Full wood rim and traditional style tone ring
This used Johnson Bluegrass 5-string banjo is missing the label, so we don’t know the exact name of the model… But we can tell you this – it is a major banjo for the brand “Johnson”, who were usually known for very entry level instruments. This one has significant weight, with a major wood rim, flathead tone ring, good tuners, resonator and neck.
The neck has elaborate inlays in the headstock and the fingerboard. The instrument is nicely bound.
* The instrument has one ding on bass side of peghead where some lacquer is chipped right on the edge.
This is really quite a good banjo and will hold its own in a jam.
Comes with good hard case.
