“The Rest of the Story”
The 1916 Gibson A arrived via air mail to Charleston, WV on Friday afternoon. She’s a beauty and sounds real sweet. My fingers are sore. The mandolin is exactly as represented by Greg Boyd. They did a great job on getting it to me quick and in good condition.
I highly recommend Greg Boyd’s House of Fine Instruments.
Don’t look for this one to be on in the classified section. The Lord’s willing, we will be playing Old Time music for a long, long, time.
Thanks again to all the Cafe members who made, even me, feel comfortable doing an Internet deal. I appreciate it!

I bought the Grissom Dawg pick from youall about 2-3 years ago, I use the Dawg on my 2 ES 335, ES 339, George Benson model, Epephone Joe Pass,
I use 10 Ga roto yellows strings on my 3 ES 335’s ,D’Addario 13-56 on Geo. Benson, Epi 339 and Epiphone Pre-Joe: Joe Pass Big Fat “Mama.”
I started to Fear I would lose the Dawg purchases from you and Night Terror Dreams etc. So I bought some more! I also still have your Wonderful Sticker Logo on my Apartment Door.
FURTHUR: the Grissom works great on Fender Jaguar Knock-off and Fender mustang vintera-60s-mustang.
I am Ecstatic with the DAWG you make. I Actually had a REAL GRISSOM DAWG in 2005 just after the Maker Passed. I was playing a Folks Festival in Tumecelia Ca. and Lost the pick.
Want to take a moment to leave a note of appreciation for the transaction i just had with greg boyd house of fine instruments.
Just purchased and received the 1946 Gibson L7.
i am very pleased with my purchase, just has described to me. Dealing with this house was a pleasure. I would recommend and look to work with them again!
Thank you!
