Traditionally constructed, these Kentucky KM-272’s deliver a lot of sound for the money.
Its really a great oval hole sound…! Very responsive.
The Snakehead Rosewood overlay has the “Kentucky” logo inlayed at the top in pearl, and the vintage wreath white pearl is inlayed in the center. Truss rod cover before the nut. Saga’s custom tuning machines are used on this mandolin with white buttons. The radiused Rosewood fingerboard has mother of pearl dot inlays, and the ivoroid binding has black position dot markers.
The German Spruce top has an Ebony bridge with two adjustment wheels, and the tailpiece is two-piece Nickle with “Kentucky” engraved in the center. The soundhole rosette is three alternating black and white lines in a circle. The back, sides, and neck of this mandolin are Alpine Maple.
We take great care in the set up and adjustment of these Kentucky mandolins when they arrive. Each one is checked and adjusted to have good playability and great sound. We adjust nut slots, bridge slots and bridge fit as needed. We adjust the neck, bridge and tailpiece as needed. We restring with high quality strings.
Comes with plush zippered leatherette gig bag with Kentucky logo and backpack straps.
