Mahogany round neck / Slotted peghead
This vintage 1930s Dobro Model 27 sounds great and plays well. Flat Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Tobacco sunburst. Single cream binding around top edge. Original screen hole covers. Appears to be original stamped cone and spider. Original fan cover plate, tailpiece and screws. Tuners appear to be original 3-on-a-plate brass with black button.
It appears the neck has been off and then reset, and is currently at a good angle for playing. Heel shows a repaired break on left and right side. Body has bold finish checking in spots and more polite finish checking throughout.
This Dobro is setup very well and sounds good.
Comes with oversized hard case (ask us about the interesting travel tags on it!).
