This fine 3/4 violin is labeled as “1810 Bertholini” has an exceptional voice for a 3/4 Violin. It is also relatively unscathed, with NO crack repairs except on tiny “wink” of a 1/4″ crack at the bottom of Bass side f-hole. I’ve read some reports that these violins labeled “1810 Bertholini” were made later, say around 1900.
The finish is in great shape with a lovely amber-brown color. The fresh set-up includes new strings, new bridge, new perfect peg fit. The sound is quite good – better than you’d expect from a 3/4 instrument.
Comes with a good case and a 3/4 horsehair bow.
