This 1890 Washburn New Model is a very good playing parlor guitar. It was restored in about 1990 by a local Missoula luthier. Below I’ll give you a list of repairs that have been done on this 135-year-old American Made guitar.

Three Side Cracks – old long cracks were repaired in the sides. These emanated from the endpin and spread around the lower bout. There were two on the treble side and one on the bass side.
Capo Damage back of neck – old vintage screw capos were used to scar the back peak of the “V” neck. The affected bare wood was lacquered over.
Bridge – Newer bridge that is slightly oversized.
Top – The Red Spruce top has had some shellac rubbed over the original finish on certain areas.

This fine old Parlor has a “V” profile neck. It has a slotted headstock, 12-fret neck joint. The top has no cracks. The back has two small cracks out by the binding at lower bout.
The top has a nice pumpkin colored top. Original tuners with original riveted ivoroid buttons. Appears to be original Ebony nut. Very nice tone.

Comes w/ original sleeve/bag
