Description

VG (+) condition. Width at nut: 1 1/8″. Serial number 8325.
Made when Orville Gibson still worked at Gibson…

Spruce top. Birch back and sides. Appears to be Birch neck with Rosewood stringer. Blackened peghead veneer is blank. Ebony fingerboard with dot inlays. Original Ebony bridge and tortoise plate pickguard. Oval soundhole is bound inside and has wooden Houndstooth rosette. Original tuners have all matching ivoroid buttons. One string shaft has been professionally changed. Original tailpiece has been replaced with new “The Gibson” tailpiece.
Fresh fret milling. Some lacquer blemish on top and minor dings throughout showing evidence of handling but no problems.
Comes with hard case.
