This 1915 Lyon and Healy 3/4 Solid Wood Bass is a great sounding instrument with a generous neck profile and many repairs.
It is traditionally built with Maple back, sides and neck with a Spruce top.
Fingerboard appears to be Brazilian Rosewood. Its been recently planed, and it is in great shape with plenty of thickness.
The wooden tailpiece has been replaced with a cable tailpiece that has cabling to each individual string.
The back/sides and top/sides have been re-glued many times. There is one Maple patch on the upper bout side, that resembles an upside-down shape of Oklahoma.
Newer tuners installed. Newer 2-pc adjustable bridge installed.
