This 1957 Gibson Les Paul Jr TV Model is an absolute killer guitar. It has such great tone and playability when paired with a nice amp, and it even sounds great acoustically for a solid body electric. Extremely resonant and playable. The TV yellow finish on this Mahogany guitar is gorgeous. These Gibson Les Paul, jr models with TV yellow finish are some of the most sought-after vintage guitars from Gibson.

The Ebony peghead veneer features the Gibson decal at the top, and the “les Paul” signature in the center with “TV Model” below it. Nice Non-original Schaller closed-back Nickel tuners with Nickel buttons. Truss-rod cover above the nut. super comfortable normal “C” profile Mahogany neck is in great shape, with only one or two small dings and a minor cigarette burn by the 11th fret on the bass side of the neck. One other small cigarette burn on the bass side of the peghead. Rosewood fingerboard features mother of pearl dot inlays and side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard.

Original stop tailpiece/bridge combination. Single P-90 pickup with one volume and one tone knob. The Black plastic pickguard looks great with the TV yellow finish. Nickel strap button installed on the Mahogany sides. The Mahogany top has some slight chipping around the edges, and one small area of wear where your arm rests while playing. For a 66-year-old guitar, the finish is in really great condition. The Mahogany back has a bit more wear than the top, with some lacquer checking and stray dings and scratches, but it is still in really great condition for its age.

Such a fun guitar to play. All original except for the new tuners, which allow this instrument to be tuned easily. Comes with a 70’s Gibson hard case.
