This 1970 D-18 recently had a fresh professional setup.
A typical D-18, it has Mahogany back, sides, and neck with a Sitka Spruce top. Rosewood Fingerboard and bridge, peghead overlay and heel cap.

The Rosewood peghead overlay features the “Martin & Co.” decal at the top. Nickel patent pending Grover tuners with Nickel buttons. Bone nut. The Rosewood fingerboard has pearl dot inlays and side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. Nice Rounded “V” profile neck with some dings and scratches along it. Rosewood heelcap. Nickel strap button installed(see photos).

The Sitka Spruce top shows good medullary rays and ropy figure. Rosewood bridge with black plastic pins. Black pickguard. Four lines of black and white purfling inside the black binding on the top edge. Black end wedge with black end pin.

This 1970 Martin has some wear and has some repairs. Nothing is out of the ordinary, but I’ll give you a description here:
The lacquer on back of neck has 3 small areas of lacquer flake… none feel bad to your thumb while playing.
Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard has light fingernail pitting under some strings in the first position.
Two repaired top cracks: B-string pickguard crack repaired; Center seam of Spruce top has been professionally reglued.
Two repaired cracks in Mahogany side (bass side); Bass side of back at the waist shows binding reglued with finish touch-up.
Back has some belt buckle smooth marring of lacquer (see photos).

It is playing and sounding great. Frets are freshly leveled and polished. Comes with a hard case.
