Sunburst finish is not typical, and shows interesting color blending and shading. Figured Maple back, sides and neck. Spruce top. Slim “V” neck profile. Nickel Gotoh tuners with Ebony buttons. Ebony peghead overlay with Ratliff logo inlaid at top and floral pattern inlay in center. Flat Ebony dbl-cut fingerboard with dot inlays and last several frets scalloped away. Ebony adjustable bridge. Ebony endpin. Nickel tailpiece with engraved cover. Body and peghead is bound with multiple ivoroid, while neck is bound with single ivoroid.
This is a good sounding mandolin. It has some finish checking around here and there… and the peghead scroll has been re-attached.
