1-11/16″ width at nut
This 1998 Taylor W-10 has a beautiful set of figured Walnut back and sides, Sitka Spruce top, and a rounded “V” profile Mahogany neck. This is a very nice earlier Taylor model in good playing shape.
The Ebony peghead overlay features “Taylor” inlaid at the top, a decorative pearl inlay in the center, and a wooden truss rod cover before the nut. Ivoroid binding on the top edge of the peghead. Gold Grover tuners. The Ebony fingerboard features pearl inlays similar to the one at the center of the peghead overlay. black side dot position markers on the bass side of the ivoroid fingerboard binding. The center of the Mahogany “V” profile neck has some dings from a rough capo. Gold strap button installed in the correct position on the heel. Ivoroid heelcap.
The Sitka Spruce top has a few significant areas of player wear, but it does not have any cracks. It does not appear to have had any crack repairs either. The Ebony bridge has Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots. Abalone soundhole rosette and Abalone purfling before the ivoroid binding on the top edge. The soundhole is bound with ivoroid. The figured Walnut back and sides are very nice. They have sporadic dings and scratches from player wear, and one 4.5″ crack repair on the bass side of the Walnut back. Appears to be a K&K pickup installed- in good working order.
This 1998 Taylor W-10 has great tone, and it is in good playing shape. Sounds great plugged in as well. Comes with hard case.
