Round Neck
This 2003 Gibson Hound Dog round-neck dobro is in good playing shape with some areas of wear.
The front of the peghead has “Original Hound Dog” branded near the top, and a black truss rod cover above the nut. Unbranded nickel tuners with nickel buttons. Serial number “D3021850” is carved into the top of the peghead. The Rosewood fingerboard features pearloid dot inlays and cream side dot position markers on the bass side of the fingerboard. The rounded “D” profile neck is a standard feeling depth. More significant area of wear on the neck behind the 7th fret. The neck has a couple small dings as well.
The top of the body in good shape with only a couple small dings. Spider Bridge. The back of the body and the butt have most of the wear on this round neck dobro. There are signs of an old repair at the bottom of the back.. The back looks to have been separated in that area and then reglued. Other spread out small dings and scratches on the back and sides of the body.
This 2003 Gibson Hound Dog Dobro has some wear but it is in nice playing shape with good tone. Comes with a gig bag.
