Red Maple & Engelmann Spruce
Silver Waverly Tuners / Solid Pearl Buttons
Its always a good thing to have a Dudenbostel F mandolin in your store. This is another fine example of a workhorse instrument that was played and enjoyed but is still in fine playing condition. The Gold EVO Frets are in great shape and show no wear. There are a few stray pick marks into the finish on the top, as well as a few minor touch marks. There are a few minor dings in the highly figured Maple sides and a few imperfections around the back. The back top of the peghead shows evidence of leaning against walls.
The entire instrument is bound with ivoroid bindings showing black accent line along all sides. Gabon Ebony peghead veneer shows Dudenbostel pearl logo inlay with abalone Flowerpot in center and truss rod cover just above the bone nut. Gabon Ebony radiused fingerboard with abalone “Paris Eye” dot inlays. The fingerboard has a double-cut extension, with the extension scalloped by Dudenbostel, after the 20th fret.
The sunburst finish is a traditional tobacco sunburst. Two-piece silver plated tailpiece with Dudenbostel engraved in the silver lid. Ebony 2-pc traditional adjustable bridge. Ebony endpin. The Red Maple back and sides have stunning flame figure.
Comes with a good hard case.
