Select Adirondack Red Spruce top with Ivoroid binding. Honduran Rosewood back and sides, also with Ivoroid binding. Mahogany neck with Ivoroid binding. Radiused Ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl “Orpheum #3” inlays and Ivoroid binding. Ebony peghead overlay with JWalker logo inlaid in Mother of Pearl. Peghead is bound with Ivoroid. Waverly tuners. Bone nut. Ebony bridge with bone thru-saddle. Ebony bridge pins with pearl dots. “Zigzag” back strip. Neck has a very comfortable “C’ shaped profile.
This guitar is extremely good. There is very little player wear, and has the advantage of having a few years to open up tonally. There are just a few minor nicks in the top. The top is an upgraded piece of Adirondack Spruce, with beautiful grain pattern.
This guitar, if ordered new today, would cost lots more.
Seems a smart choice to buy this one, with very little evidence of prior ownership.
