This 2019 Martin D-41 is in fantastic shape. It was played but taken care of well. The frets have a small amount of wear, but the rest of the instrument is in exceptional condition. Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and a Mahogany neck.
The Rosewood peghead overlay features a large “CF Martin” abalone inlay in the center, and cream binding around the top edge. Gold open-back Grover tuners with gold lobed buttons. Bone nut. Ebony fingerboard features abalone hexagon inlays and black side dot position markers on the bass side of the cream fingerboard binding. The rounded “V” profile neck is in great shape with no dings. Diamond volute and cream heelcap.
The Spruce top is in great shape with some lovely grain. Ebony bridge has a bone saddle and white bridge pins with abalone dots. Abalone soundhole rosette and tortoise plastic pickguard. Abalone purfling inside the cream binding on the top edge. L.R. Baggs pickup control on the bass side of the inner soundhole. Indian Rosewood back and sides are in great shape. Cream end wedge with L.R. Baggs pickup access in the standard place of an endpin. Two-piece Indian Rosewood back is separated by a colorful wooden marquetry backstrip.
This 2019 Martin D-41 is in as good of shape as you could hope for. It has very nice tone and the playability is great. Comes with the original hard case.
