This almost new 2023 Gibson J-45 VS is as clean as can be. Almost no signs of prior use: We can find 3 very small smooth touch marks to the top, and light evidence that an arm played the guitar.
There is no fret wear, no dings or scratches to the back of neck or to the back and sides.
This great example of a J-45 was traditionally built in Bozeman, Montana. It has good Mahogany back and sides and neck, Excellent grade Sitka Spruce top and a reddish Rosewood fingerboard and bridge that remind you of Brazilian Rosewood.
The peghead has typical Gibson “mustache” peghead with Gibson pearl logo inlaid at top. Black/White truss rod cover is above the nut. Nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners. Strap button professionally installed in neck heel. The fingerboard is lovely Rosewood with pearl dot inlays and white side dots.
The tobacco sunburst top is quite nice. The top edge is bound with 3-ply Wh/blk/wh bindings. The soundhole rosette also has Wh/blk/wh purfling circle. Small red tortoise pickguard. Belly bridge is beautiful grained Rosewood and has a boxed, intonated saddle and white bridge pins.
The back is in great shape, with no dings or scratches, etc. The back edge has white binding.
There is an LR Baggs VTC system installed by Gibson in the guitar. It has an endpin jack and Vol./Tone wheels inside soundhole edge.
This guitar is already fairly opened-up, with good strong sound from bass to trebles. Comes with original hard case.
