This Lebeda Square Neck Resophonic is crafted using sound-post construction – one of the highest forms of resophonic building. It is standard Dobro size. The body is sunburst and appears to be all birch construction. The figured Maple peghead overlay features a Lebeda decal logo at the top, accompanied by a flower pot flourish just below the logo. The tuners are closed back and nickel-plated.
The guitar features a bone nut and a Rosewood fingerboard adorned with graduated pearl dot inlays. It has single-ply cream-colored binding along the top and back edge. The body has two screen holes in the upper bouts and a traditional fan cover plate. It features a well-made aluminum spider and a spun cone. The tail piece is a traditional square-neck style. All hardware is made of Nickel and is in excellent condition.
Overall, this resophonic guitar is in really nice condition, with just a few minor marks on the back of the neck and a few nicks on the top from handling. There’s no significant wear. The original case, made in Czech Republic, offers excellent temperature and water seal protection.
This instrument has a fantastic punchy sound and will surely stand out in a jam. A truly excellent playing and sounding resophonic guitar. Comes with a hard case.
