New. Includes case and bow.
Traditional construction from a real “European Style” violin shop in China. Mr Ji studied violin making by apprenticing to an Italian master maker and completing his apprenticeship and journeyman training. Instead of staying in Europe and making a good living for himself, he returned to China and began to teach his own apprentices and journeymen. The result is consistent well-made and well-voiced instruments.
Maple and Spruce construction with Ebony fittings. Composite fine tuner tailpiece. Comes with good Brazil wood (or basic carbon fiber) bow and good case. The tone is always good on these – never sharp or shrill.
Here is an audio soundclip from our friend Isaac Callender demonstrating this violin in our store.
