Traditionally constructed, this new Kentucky KM-150 delivers a lot of sound for the money. Maple back, sides and neck with Spruce top. Rosewood fingerboard. Blackened peghead veneer has Kentucky pearl logo inlaid at top. Truss rod adjustment in peghead near nut. Flat Rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. The cream binding around the fingerboard has dark side dot position markers. B/W/B elevated pickguard. Ebony prewar style 2-piece adjustable bridge. Two piece nickel tailpiece. Nickel tuners with cream buttons. Ebony endpin. Cream binding around top and back of mandolin body.
We take great care in the set up and adjustment of these Kentucky mandolins when they arrive. Each one is checked and adjusted to have good playability and great sound. We adjust nut slots, bridge slots and bridge fit as needed. We adjust the neck and and tailpiece as needed. We restring with high quality strings.
